Some even claim, infer and with rather clever deceptive phrasing that they are licensed and registered electrologists. However with a few tips I will provide you the insight, which will make it quite easy for you the consumer to spot the frauds.

Most if not all non-licensed non-educated electrologists in Arizona rely heavily on the old quick-quack instant electrolysis certification course. However their number one choice and all time favorite and the most easily attained title for the academically challenged undereducated wanabe non-licensed electrologist is the cherished Certified Professional Electrologist. Now non-educated folks can claim to be electrologists and proudly point to their beautifully embellished and ornately embossed Certified Professional Electrologist certificate and they will tell you how mentally challenging their 120-hour quick-quack certification course was. Fact and for the record most Arizona Residents are unaware that their education has not been approved by the Arizona State Board of Education and that means they are not licensed and registered to practice electrolysis. Fact and for the record in addition to that their 120 hour Certified Professional Electrologist course did not require a practical electrolysis examination. In addition regarding the written part of that test answers where made available before the exam with multiple choices and true and false testing. Furthermore sources have informed me that no one has ever flunked the test.


For the record in 1990 the non-licensed electrologists of Arizona voted down the creation of a State Board Of Electrologists, which would have been outright gift from the state that would have grandfathered them in as licensed and registered electrologists. Out of paranoia they voted against a creation of a state board of electrologists because they thought they would have to attend an electrolysis school. Others voiced their concern and objections that their offices could be inspected for hygiene and sanitation and unhappy consumers could lodge complaints for bad work and unethical conduct. Fact an Electrologist’s basic education is the bedrock foundation and the beginning of an electrologist’s ability to learn to provide a safe competent treatment for the patient. Without a state board we have no enforcement to oversee the quality of electrolysis treatments, sterilization and safety standards are met and maintained. In other words when it comes to electrolysis treatments in Arizona the Quacks can exaggerate there printed credentials to their hearts content. However who has the right to supply them 120-hour course and than empower that person competent as a certified professional electrologist? Fact where I come from grades are earned and learned and not bought at the local five and dime store.

Licensed and registered electrologists who worked hard and went to electrolysis school are appalled that the quacks can easily purchase credentials. Additionally they have a total lack of ethics coupled with lawless behavior and misconduct. In spite of this these individuals instead of doing what’s right and go to an accredited electrolysis school routinely fabricate their credentials over the years and lie to the public and infer they are licensed and registered electrologists. In states like Arizona with no state board of electrologists some of these non-licensed quick-quacks have harassed, threatened and even tried to intimidate myself and other licensed electrologists that have relocated to Arizona. The non-licensed quacks have coerced their so called friends and even their own children to harass licensed and registered electrolgists by making phony appointments, obscene call ups and hang-ups and the even have degenerate thugs make physical threats by email in addition to vandalism of private property. However it is the individuals like these who claim to be certified as a professional electrologist.



Recently I have observed a particular electrologist advertising on the Net claiming that she is a graduate of the Arizona State School Of Electrology. Fact because I am the Dean Of Boston School Of Electrolysis™ America’s only finishing school for licensed and registered electrologists I thought it would be nice to list the schools for students starting from scratch. Well I was curious to say the least about an Internet website where a non-licensed certified electrologist claimed to be a graduate of the Arizona State School Of Electrology so I conducted an exhaustive search for the Arizona State School Of Electrology. For the record I could not find a trace of the school with no address or any of its other graduates except for one whom I need not mention. So I looked at the website again and thought if I was a consumer reading and thinking to myself well she is a graduate of the Arizona State School of Electrology and the fact that she implied that she went a state school that most likely she is a licensed and registered electrologist. However she failed to mention that she was not a licensed and registered electrologist, how strange to be graduate electrologist of the Arizona State School of Electrology however she is not a licensed and registered electrologist?

Now my curiosity was peaked and I thought someone’s telling a fib so I sent of a letter of inquiry to Mr. Keith Blanchard Deputy Director of the Arizona State Board of Post Secondary Private Education. Please see letter below.

Dear Mr. Blanchard,

A brief introduction, my name is Kimberly Williams, R.E., Dean and I am a Massachusetts licensed and registered electrologist who relocated to Arizona 1991. Mr. Blanchard the state of Arizona has no legislated laws or requisite educational requirements to practice as an electrologist. Furthermore without a state board of electrologists we have more dishonest people claiming they are professionally educated in addition to falsely claiming and advertising or inferring they are licensed and registered electrologists.

Mr. Blanchard as you see I have printed copy of the front page of a web advertisement where the owner of ?????? ????????????, Ms. ????? ?? ?????? claims that she is a graduate of the Arizona State School Of Electrology. Mr. Blanchard non-licensed electrologists are blight to my profession and they are quite creative when it comes to deceptive misleading false advertising. Mr. Blanchard it my belief the Arizona State School Of Electrology never existed however for the consumer looking for a qualified electrologist they read her ad and they think oh, she must be a licensed and registered electrologist because it says she graduated from the Arizona State School Of Electrology.

Mr. Blanchard I have website known as Boston School Of Electrolysis which has free online educational articles and information plus an online newspaper called The Five Star Electrologist© where I write articles and expose fake electrologists and there scams. Presently I am close to completing a list of fake electrolysis schools where quite a few non-licensed electrologists in Arizona have been printing their own diplomas with false and misleading advertising.

Mr. Blanchard I would appreciate your help if would please confirm whether or not the Arizona State School of Electrology ever existed. In addition I have another request about an ethically challenged electrolysis school that actually existed and it was known as ??? ??????? ????????? ?? ???????????? whose curriculum and teaching methods where quite dubious to say the least in addition to problems such as offering a correspondence course for electrolysis. Furthermore I am investigating there selling of diplomas without training in addition to problems from overcharging on student loans plus the fabrication of actual training hours and verification. Mr. Blanchard if you would please send me a copy of the curriculum and all other information about the ???????? Institute Of Electrolysis including its years of operation I would be most appreciative.

Well the evidence is in black and white thanks to hard work Mr. Keith Blanchard Deputy Director of The Arizona State Board Of Post Secondary Education who completed an exhaustive and extensive search found no record for The Arizona State School Of Electrology. You are probably asking why I did not expose and make known the name the woman claiming to be the only known graduate of The Arizona State School Of Electrology? Fact it is my policy and belief to get people interested so they have a sincere desire to be educated at an accredited electrolysis school where they will learn the value of professional ethics and honest advertising. Licensed and registered electrologists take pride that we are educated, trained, tested, licensed and registered and that we took the time and made the effort to learn and earn our credentials.

Fact having presented the truth it is my professional opinion and without one doubt it’s apparent the uneducated non-licensed quick-quack certified electrologists cause more harm than good. For the record they have chosen to be illiterate and morally oblivious to the consumers right that their electrologist be accountable and able to perform a safe competent treatment. Conversely that’s not to be with them because in a short amount of time they took an additional fifty-hour certification course and have become a Certified Laser Parlor Operators. Now these quacks advertise electrolysis as the bait or should I their lure to get you the consumer in their door because their electrolysis treatments are so incompetent they switch you over to laser with their new lie and say, “Trust me I was certified electrologist before I switched to the laser.” Consumers beware it is your right to ask, “Are you a licensed and registered electrologist?” Now that you know difference between a professional and a quack you know the questions to ask and you should be able to find a competent licensed and registered electrologist. For the record I have never met one certified electrologist who could perform a comfortable decent treatment and now with their additional 50-hour course these certified Laser Parlor Operators want you to trust them. However in the end one must ask why do they spend years faking it and print bogus credentials when they could have completed and graduated from an accredited licensed electrolysis school part or full time in three months to a year?
