Negative advertising regarding the pseudo-professional outlets known as “The Laser Parlors”,

1. Their primary function is to hide the truth, deceive the public and maliciously tarnish the reputation of hard working electrolysis-electrology professionals.


2. These heinous acts are executed with exaggerated lies, deceptive advertising, wildly unsubstantiated unproved claims and unsubstantiated testing results.


3. The staff members are trained to and deliberately withhold dangerous facts about this scientifically unproven product.

You the consumer have the right to know the truth and facts. If their product was so superior then why do “Laser Parlor Operators” relentlessly put down the electrolysis-electrology profession with such vile unprofessional conduct? The electrolysis-electrology industry is a primarily a woman’s profession that has been forced to fight these hostile scam artists who use and denigrate woman. A male dominated business group that is devoted to taking over the electrolysis-electrology industry perpetrates these attacks upon this traditionally woman-owned and operated professional industry.

Who are these men? They are laser manufactures and physicians who have targeted the electrologists’ pocketbook as the easiest way to make an easy buck. All women patients with minor to severe unwanted hair problems are psychologically and financially targeted with slick, airbrushed cyber models. This advertising is strictly image orientated and does not represent scientific testing by a single legitimate and reputable testing facility. Women are selectively targeted and marketed with photos of instant results and that is specifically used to target a compulsive decision. They promote their product using a method, which pinpoints the unsuspecting woman’s desire to know how they would like to appear rather than how they will actually appear. The promise of instant results that to this date have gone totally unproven.

“Laser Parlor Operators” are like locusts; after they clean out one town they fly to another. Since the inception of “Laser Parlors” their illegal acts have caused an immeasurable loss of money to the female consumer. Yet, the financial rip off is only one aspect of their malice. Without question the women who succumb to these sales gurus have been inundated with physical maiming and mutilation. Women are experiencing first, second and third degree burns in record numbers and these crimes against women have gone unpunished. Why? Because many women do not want go to court about something that is so personal and embarrassing as having an unwanted hair problem and the “Laser Operators” know it.

The “Laser Parlors” are slowly dying off however at a great expense to the female consumer. Example the “Laser Parlors” state, “Now you do not have to suffer painful electrolysis.” Let’s think about that statement. **First of all in 1998 the FDA ruled that “Laser Operators” couldn’t claim nor advertise the laser as painless, because in fact it is quite painful.** Yet unscrupulous physicians, techs and **Certified Wonder Electrologists** laugh at and disregard this law with total impunity. They advertise with images of caring physicians yet in many of these “Parlors” the physicians are not on site. Why? They want your money without working for it and will use other “Laser Parlor Paid Women” with no values to exploit you! Again it is what they don’t tell you. That is if the laser is so painless then why do Laser operators” use intra-venous narcotics and muscle relaxants? **My research has indicated that some physicians actually hand out Vicodan as an incentive and or a lure to get the consumer in the door?**

When an electrologist has had a professional education with requisite standards such as scientific theory, a minimum of 1100 hours of practical application and testing by currently State Licensed and Registered Electrologists with a minimum of tens years of self-employed experience they will render a comfortable professional treatment. For the record quite a few of my patients have fallen asleep on the table.

When an individual has treatment by a **Certified Wonder Electrologists** who have waved their magic wands and transform himself or herself into Certified Wonder Laser specialist they are at extremely high risk. These wonder people’s professional educations are hoaxes. You should expect to experience pain, scabbing and scarring and first, second and third degree burns. Most importantly, many will become discouraged and quit. **If your unwanted hair problem is severe you will now be desperate enough to try anything. This is exactly what they count on!**

The “Laser Parlor Operator’s” education consists of a fully paid weekend trip to the laser manufacturer’s so-called schools. There they receive just enough information to get by along with financial statistics indicating how much money they will make. The manufacturer has a vested interest in allowing everyone who attends to receive a “certificate” in order to sell his or her equipment. The caveat however is that the laser industry is so dangerous that in Arizona as well as other states they are monitored by State Boards of Radiology. Why? Because the laser emits and radiates harmful, dangerous and radioactive ultraviolet cancer causing radiation. They law states that under rules and regulation of these boards a physician is required to be present. However, how many physicians actually perform temporary hair removal laser treatments? Very few of them do so. Routinely, they leave you in the hands of their techs that have not had more than forty hours of training.

In the name of instant gratification and for the sake of the almighty buck, if you put some money down on the table these unlicensed, professionally illiterate wanabes' will tell you what you want to hear. It sounds real nice until you end up in burn unit of a hospital and have your face mutilated to the point your life becomes a horror. Although this may sound harsh visit the links and ask yourself, “If that happened to me, what would I actually do? How would I survive if my face or body parts were mutilated to the point you had to wear a mask?” What about my legs with over six thousand burn marks? Would I have to wear pants all my life?

Your only recourse is chasing the physician and the “Laser Specialist” through the courts and for another five years or even more. As my research has indicated that many of the companies being sued file for bankruptcy you will never get a dime. On the other hand, for those whose injuries have been devastating enough to have received a settlement, they will almost without exception will hear their plastic surgeon say, “Regretfully, I am certain that there are no known forms of surgical repair that can help you.” Those are the risks you take when you sign that Carte Blanch document at the “Laser Parlor!”

So what is the final outcome?

1. First and foremost, you should consider yourself extremely lucky that you did not get mutilated.


2. Secondly, your body and your life are precious.


3. When you see a commercial that shows these perfectly airbrushed models, give it allot of thought before you hand over your Visa, MasterCard or check.


4. When they tell you it is painless, ask them why then do I need to subject myself to I.V. narcotics?
   
5. Better yet never experiment with your looks!

Fact Laser Parlors flimsily accuse the real Electrologists of trying to maintain the Status Quo. Let me tell you about the Status Quo which for 117 years has advanced itself and built a profession based on professional ethics, organization, standards of required education and practice, testing, and has always passed the most intense AMA and FDA scrutiny. In addition we have multitudes of published books, which would provide a respectable contribution to any Public Library. We now have 33 State Boards of Electrologists, which over see the quality of our education; our practices and those professional standards of ethics are enforced and maintained. For 117 years we have advanced our equipment from the first epilators and evolved with the latest technology to the use of State of The Art Computerized Epilators, which has always been rigorously tested and approved by the FDA. We real Electrologists are the one and only profession that can claim and advertise Permanent Hair Removal we have earned this right by hard work, professionalism and education is our hallmark. Arizona has no State Board of Electrologists to ensure the safety of the public and consumer. Laser Parlors thrive like vermin and operate in states where there are no laws to protect you the public.

The Flim Flam Laser Industry does not possess our knowledge, know-how, and educational requirements. They have not one State Board of Laser Operators in the United States of America. The Laser Parlors have no approved scientific theory, No State Board with not one practical application requirements. In addition, No State Board approved testing, they have not one State Board that they have to answer to. The have no double blind study to authenticate their claims. Their ethics are riddled with question marks of non-accountability. They do not report and refuse to be held accountable to any State or Federal Agency when so many people are being permanently burned, maimed and mutilated. In the beginning when one of its many unreported victims has been physically maimed and mutilated the insurance companies paid the claims. As with most insurance claims of this nature when the victims are compensated and they have to sign nondisclosure statement. This prevents you the public from knowing the truth!


However, most recently insurance companies cannot afford paying out so many claims for severe Laser burns and are refusing to do so. This leaves you the victim to bare the expenses, pain and suffering. Insurance companies have big money, big lawyers and clout and for the victims to receive compensation they have to go to court. The victim has to fight big insurance companies, big lawyers and influence peddling and lobbyists and the system. The victim of this quackery becomes the victim of system that lost its ethics along time ago. When you have been permanently burned you will find out that not one physician will testify against another for you! How many average Americans can afford thousands of dollars for lawyers only to go to court and no Doctor will testify for you. How can one support them when they have been so permanently disfigured they fear going out in public because of shame and humiliation?

When you see the photographs below try to imagine that you are physically disfigured, to have people stare at you, to have people look away from you. Society is cruel enough though these self anointed professionals live on and have not the slightest inkling of the permanent emotional pain and suffering that they have inflicted upon their victims for the quick buck at your expense and health. Below is allot of pain, misery and suffering yet I find the people who did this to innocent victims put their victims through hell before compensation. Insurance companies will assassinate your character before you get to the courtroom.

I have to ask these people that preyed upon these victims how do you sleep at night? For I know their pain will be permanent, no amount compensation will ever heal their emotional wounds. Lets take a visit to a brave women who is fighting the system, the insurance companies and give her the support she deserves by exposing this most dangerous and untested technology backed by big money. Take a visit to one of the many links and see the photographs were they administered I.V. Demerol and Valium to a victim who had suffered second and third degree burns on her face. One picture is worth thousand words these poor women are the victims of premeditated deceptive and illegal advertising that lead to violence. Most notable about her tragedy is done under the supervision of a licensed medical physician who did not bother to be present. Kim Mc Million was injected with I.V. Demerol and Valium for a painless Laser Hair removal Treatment? I thought they said it does not hurt? Than how come they use I.V. narcotics when they tell you the treatment is painless? How about the flakey names of their equipment such as gentlelase, coollase that infer no pain when actually it’s hot enough to burn though steel. How about the risk of becoming addicted to narcotics? Quite a few of this center hand out narcotics like candy for there so called painless treatments as an inducement to get them to have treatment.

Kim Mc Million was injected with I.V. Demerol and Valium and she stated under oath "I could smell my skin burning, I could feel my face on fire," Kim said. "It was so painful, I could have screamed. While in a narcotic haze she kept wondering when it would be over with. They told her the spa’s beauty technician was instructed to stop because of the pain, then the supposed Tech rubbed ice on her face and wanted to know are you ready to do the other side?"

She stated, a physician at the spa wood look at her. He instructed her to buy some salve and just go home. The complaint fielding the Brooklyn Supreme Court, she has been diagnosed with serious second- and third-degree burns that not even plastic surgery cannot repair. Kim Mc Million hides her face with covers when at work to hide the deep scarring from her laser treatments. Kim's issues are that experiences a very depressed mood and anxiety, loss of assurance and confidant life style, loss of sleep, anxiety and disgrace over personal appearance and scared she is scared for life." Kim says they told that her treatments would be safe and performed by trained technicians under the direct supervision of a physician.

Deception of patients is their way doing business by telling them what to ask the Electrologists while planting seeds of failure in the head. I had young woman call my office and told me how she had eight laser treatments performed by a certified wonder Electrologist and they did not work. From there she made an appointment with me in which I scheduled her an appointment. However, the certified wonder electrologists who use the Laser put so much hate in her she could not handle her emotions and she yelled out you that electrologists are all alike. This is what happens with no State Board of Electrologists and No State Board of Laser Techs to answer to. You have a certifiable wonder electrologist that’s taken the weekend course and now he/she is a certified laser specialist. They go from one scam to the other shaming the real electrologists while causing; pain, misery, suffering and physical mutilation. I thought there were laws against assault and battery. The electrolysis-electrology profession has it outcasts. In my book any electrologist especially ones that are Licensed and Registered have the number one major flaw. They are greedy sociopaths with absolutely no ethics or professional ability to practice electrolysis. They should be banned from any and all professional electrologists guild. Without a doubt the licensed and registered electrologists who use the laser is a rarity and they have sacrificed the truth and ethics with greed and avarice. They are not to be trusted in any from or manner no matter what they claim.

Laser Parlors are owned and run by sociopath inane predatory viscous excuses for human beings. When it comes to the status quo I do not know one dedicated hardworking licensed and registered Electrologist who does not earn every penny she works for. An Electrologist that can the do the job is rarity and most precious commodity and we do the impossible because we succeed were all others fail for we permanently remove hair. Let me tell what I think about these predatory inhumane acts upon be Kim McMillon. The charges against the Greenhouse Spa, the Tech and the physician should be criminal charges not just civil. I have always believed mayhem and mutilation are criminal offenses and this electrologists supports Kim McMillon and others in their quest not for justice but to expose these inhumane acts for what they really are, Quackery, Fraud and Human Experimentation of the worst kind. Though at the end they’re always the ultimate tragedy. I was taught in my electrolysis-electrology education that hair would not grow on scar tissue. Where the skin in not burned you will find they still have their unwanted hair problem. These cases are just the tip of the Iceberg of these criminal atrocities that eventually will be exposed and brought to attention of judicial system. Only when too many people have been permanently burned, scarred and disfigured for life will this dangerous quackery end.
